What does D.A.CH stand for?
D.A.CH stands for Germany (D, Deutschland), Austria (A) and Switzerland (CH, Confoederatio Helvetica). The Lead Agency Agreement was signed by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF), the Austrian Science Fund (FWF) and the German Research Foundation (DFG) in May 2008. Under this agreement, cross-border applications submitted by researchers from two or all three of these countries need only be evaluated by the Lead Agency. The project parts performed in each of the three countries must be interdependent and complementary.
What does DecAlp stand for?
DecAlp refers to the abbreviated title of the proposed project dealing with the effects of climate on coarse woody debris Decay dynamics and incorporation into the soils of forested Alpine areas. The investigation area is located in Val di Rabbi in the south Alpine belt in northern Italy (Trentino).
The project has been running from the 1st August 2012 until the 31st December 2016.
